About Us The Mission of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Northwestern Ontario (HRPANO) is to ensure opportunities for professional development and growth; provide opportunities for networking and mutual support to those interested in human resource practices in our region; and to recognize contributions to and value of the human resource profession.   The HRPANO has a long history in Northwestern Ontario and is one of twenty-eight chapters which make up the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).  There have been 29 Past Presidents since 1972.  A Strategic Plan was passed at the Annual General Meeting held on June 16, 2004.
